  1. Kale mera, Lefteri!

I drew that story in early 1990, shortly before entering the hospital due to health problems. GOD was drawing me back to Himself, and I was very close to death. The Dostoevsky story really isn't theologically sound (the ONLY way to avoid hell is to be born again in Jesus Christ---no 'good works' done on our part have any merit in the sight of a holy God; that is why Jesus had to pay the price for our sins on Calvary's cross with His broken body, His shed blood, even His very life---which He took up again after three days).

These days I illustrate and publish Christian books, comics, tracts, and posters under my Calvary Comics imprint, and thousands have sold all over the world. My website: www.calvarycomics.com

    Best regards,

    Alec Stevens
